Release Package

Use this form to release your package, whenever you have a release of your package that you want presented as a public release. A public release is a release that is packaged for publc consumption, as well as a release that developers can use for their own package dependencies.

To release your package, enter the full package name and cvs release tag. The package that you release will be released recusively. For example, if you released the 'org.gjt.bugrat' package, all of the packages in that package will also be released, such as 'org.gjt.bugrat.servlet' and its peers.

The cvs release tag that you use must be a valid tag applied to your sources with the 'cvs tag' command. This is required in order for the package to work with many of the automated distribution tools.
