You have not mentioned whether this is first time to run JSP or after some 
period you have come across this problem
okay, take first case
have u installed eerythin properly
1.JDK
2.JSDK
3.APACHE SERVER
4.APACHE JSERV
5. have you set classpath(s) and path(s)
6.have you configured *.conf and *.properties

Now u need to copy *.html and *.jsp in Apache Group\Apache\htdocs
and servlets in Apache Jserv1.1.1\servlets

do this and ur porbs would be solved

Check in nutshell
1. whether JSP is coded properly since it cannot be debugged as servlets
are done.
2. classpaths are proper and mentioned in C:\autoexec.bat
or JAVA IDE which u r using if not the dos console
