I'm actually working on a set of JSP components for
NetObjects Fusion. In the process, I'll hopefully be able to
put up some bean examples to explain the whole
system/process. The bean examples aren't there yet, but you
can look at:

The main purpose for us was to use it with JDBC and MySQL,
so we'll definately include example code such as that (and
will invite comments/suggestions on our methodology).
I've been meaning to email the gnujsp author about this, but
haven't got around to it yet.
