I have two sizable sites written in JSP1.0 and JavaScript
under development, one of which is going live before the
end of this month. They include JDBC operations,
mail forms with validation, etc. So it is very convenient to have
something that works well right now. If a working 1.0
implementation accelerates development of a future 1.1
implementation then more power to you.
