You may try to get a current cvs snapshot and
start by reading INSTALL.apache. The documentation is
not up to date but that file is uptodate.

You don't need jsp.jar any longer (which Dok did you read?),
(Yaroslav, are your betas still online?), you
need servlet.jar from the jswdk 1.0 distribution.

Feel free to ask for more help on the list (gnujsp@gjt.org)
but study the INSTALL.apache first. If you have 
another webserver you may ask before ...
