Bug??

Hey guys,

Is this a bug, or is it allowed by the spec?
I have development code that I'm commenting out. It looks like this:
//%>
//HTML STUFF
//<%

But what gets output is something like
//HTML STUFF//

Similarly, if I do this within a HTML comment <!-- <% %> --> I get
compile-time errors. I do not think I should get either type of error.

However, C-style comments seem to work fine, i.e. /* <% %> */ works just as
I would expect it to.

Is this part of the spec or a bug? If it's part of the spec, it's really
unintuitive and not a problem in GNUJSP(which has really made my life a
whole lot easier).

I'm using 1.0 non-cvs.

Thanks,
Dom
