hiho,

i think, ralph got the jackpot. i also can reproduce the error.
either you make the changes ralph described or change all occurences
of "gnujsp" to "org.gjt.jsp.JspServlet" and comment the alias line out.
but ralph's advice is much better :)

question: is it a feature by design ? i mean if i set an alias for a
servlet must i always use this alias to access the servlet ?
