install gnujsp1.0 on apache 1.3

I tried to update gnujsp 0.91 to gnujsp1.0  on apache 1.3 inside firewall.
After I installed it following your instruction, I got error from log file 
as
follow

[02/10/2000 10:40:16:132] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: can not connect to host

[02/10/2000 10:40:16:132] (EMERGENCY) ajp11: connection fail
[02/10/2000 10:40:16:132] (ERROR) an error returned handling request via
protocol "ajpv11"

Would you please tell what happened here?
