Shellex in jCVS 4.7.3
I'm new to jCVS and this mailing list, and apologize if this has been
discussed before. I've encountered two problems in shellex.exe on the
Windows platform. I'm using jCVS 4.7.3 (on Win95) and CVS 1.10.2 (on
Solaris) which I just downloaded yesterday.
First, if I try to open a file who's name contains a blank, the blank
causes the argument list to shellex to get screwed up. I've confirmed
this by adding a -d to the argument list which prints out the inputs.
Also, while the open verb seems to work, edit usually doesn't. For
example, I can't edit a Word'97 document, it says that there is no
mapping. I think this is probably due to the way my registry is set
up, but thought I'd mention it anyway.
Finally, it may be impolitic to ask on this list, but is there anyone
who's evaluated the various GUIs to CVS and would like to post a
comparison?
Thanks,
