Do not worry. The client layer, which is the client/server "kernel" will never
be dependent on Java 2. Further, I do not intend to "commit" jCVS app to Java 2
until I have all of the features in that I want. So, you will not be paying any
big price except for giving up the features that require Java 2 anyway. Besides,
it is just as likely we will be looking at Java 3 at the rate I have been able
to code jCVS these days! :(
