I reported a glitch a while ago (Feb7),   that is probably why this
behaves differently sometimes.    If a folder within a
project is selected,   the program doesn't see that selection
properly until you OPEN that subfolder.

     So,   even if you have selected a closed folder ---
the selected action    acts on ALL files in the project
(including the subfolder,   but also including other things
at that level).    The behavior is what happens (rightly)
when *nothing* is selected.

    If you use the folder's toggle handle and open it
(even if you also close it)    THEN   it correctly sees
the selection,    and acts on only the subfolder and its
contents.
