Hello Tim,
but isn't the main point of the GPL, that every software that uses it, must
be opened and licensed under GPL, too? If you do not need this restriction,
than I think, it would be better to change the license to a BSD or Mozilla
like. Perhaps this would encourage even commercial application developers to
use the JCVS library.
1 1/4 year ago, when I started to develop my SmartCVS, I took a look at the
licenses. Only the Netbeans license allowed it to use it in commercial,
closed source applications. The JCVS library was not useable because of it's
GPL license.

|No. You do not. However, I do request that you send patches for any bug
|fixes or enhancements to myself so I can integrate them into
|the package.
